Strike Anywhere ist eine US-amerikanische Polit-Hardcore/Punk-Band, die 1999 in Richmond (Virginia) gegründet wurde.

Die Band besteht aus Thomas Barnett (Vocals), Matt Smith (Gitarre), Matt Sherwood (Gitarre), Garth Petrie (Bass) und Erik Kane (Schlagzeug). Der Bandname leitet sich von den sogenannten Überallstreichhölzern (strike anywhere matches) ab, womit die Bereitschaft beziehungsweise die Möglichkeit, überall loszuschlagen und damit die Revolution auszulösen, ausgedrückt werden soll.

Als Symbol verwendet die Band den antifaschistischen Kreis, ein Kreis, in dessen Mitte drei Pfeile schräg nach unten zeigen. Bekannt wurde dieses Symbol durch die eiserne Front.

Am 24. Mai 2005 gab die Band bekannt, dass sie ihr nächstes Album, welches am 5. September 2006 veröffentlicht werden soll, nicht mehr bei Jade Tree rausbringen wollen, sondern zu Fat Wreck Chords wechseln.

 a purely antifascist symbol and a re-appropriated commie symbol. 
 a slightly modified version was used frequently by anti-rascist skins in the 80's. 
 i believe it's earliest use was by german social democrats in the 20s.
 so, summing up: antifascist, or "liberty, equality, solidarity," 
 but twisted 90 degrees. and it's easy to draw.
