+++ NITRO MAHALIA [wien | nitromahalia.net | www.myspace.com/nitromahalia] About nitro mahalia "If you dont know Nitro Mahalia you missed out. Named after a famous multilingual, female shopping mall bomber from India who was born in Asia and later on made a small career playing bass in a noise-rockband from Chicago that once opened up for the Cows with that one guy from Love666 stepping in on the keyboards and protested against the killing of seal babies by eating nothing but spring rolls for a year (or something like that) this three-piece has a cool 4-song demo available at http://nitromahalia.net (under Creative Commons something) as a hors doeuvre for the upcoming full length album. It is fresh, it is burning and it is definitely right up your alley."

+++ SONIC BOOM SIX [manchester/UK | www.myspace.com/sonicboomsix] "Notting Hill Carnival on a punk CD", "Ms Dynamite fronting the Clash" and "Dizzee Rascal crossed with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones" are some of the efforts used to describe Sonic Boom Six's genre-busting sounds. SB6 mould themselves in the tradition of UK punk bands such as the Specials, the Clash and King Prawn that push the musical envelope by mixing the contemporary underground sounds of the UK with a rocking live show. Sonic Boom Six's genre-terrorism attacks the urban sounds of ragga, hip-hop, bhangra and jungle, adds a blast of dub and reggae and detonates with a heavy helping of hardcore punk rock.

+++ ENSENADA [linz | www.myspace.com/ensenadamusic] "Hi, were Ensenada, a rocknroll band situated in a small town called Linz (Austria). The band was found back in 1999. Our first record came out in november 2002 and is called wie auch immer. It was recorded at the Brachial! Studios by Tomyy Passenger (mastermind of Austrian experimantalgodfathers Hund). These were the days we signed Brachial! Records. The songs on wie auch immer were a mixture of hardcore and emocore, held together by lyrics in upperaustian slang. Then, let`s say in 2003, our style changed into something we now call Blood injected Alp RocknRoll, including slow-mo parts à la Kyuss and powerful skandinavian like straight forward action rock. The lyrics are still the same- Austrian slang youll hardly understand, but some songs now also got english lyrics. New style, new record! In 2004 we travelled to Munich (Germany) to record a four song/ one videoclip EP called Born in the Heat of Linz at the Weryton Studios. Danube flow and steeltown flavour- kickin ass and fuck behaviour! Because of some, lets say different expectations, we split with Brachial! Rec. soon after and are now tryin on our own. In spring 2006 we split with our bass player Bartosz who is now hitting the european stages with his new band Estate. Since summer we are rehearsing with our new bass player, Wolle, former singer and guitar player of Tabloid. We try to get ready for stage and are working on some new stuff, which we will hopefully record in spring 2007 with our dear friends from deadbymonorec. keep rockin till blood fontains design your room"
